Dog owner sics pet on APD’s Mounted Patrol

AUSTIN (KXAN) — An arrest warrant has been issued for a man who police say intentionally ordered his dog to attack a police horse named ‘Cowboy.’
Austin police said Makel Rashad Farmer, 23, followed Mounted Patrol officers along East 6th Street around 1 a.m. last Sunday. At this time, Farmer was carrying his dog on his shoulder.
