Doctor says your cold symptoms could be a respiratory virus
AUSTIN (KXAN) — November begins the season for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).
Dr. Goddy Corpuz, pediatrician at the Baylor Scott and White Clinic in Cedar Park, joins us in the KXAN studio. Dr. Corpuz says this is the perfect time for parents to get their kids vaccinated.
RSV usually causes the same symptoms as a cold, including:
Cough
Stuffy or running nose
Mild sore throat
Earache
Fever
Babies with RSV:
Have no energy
Act fussy or cranky
Less hungry than usual
