Defense attorney found dead in southwest Travis Co. may have been ‘targeted’

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A defense attorney found dead Thursday in southwest Travis County’s Oak Hill neighborhood may have been “targeted,” the Travis County Sheriff’s Office says.
Sources have described the victim as a defense attorney. The man in his 40s has not been identified.
Deputies were called to the 8000 block of Rockwood Circle just before noon for a check welfare call. When deputies made it to the location, they found a man’s body.
