Death row inmate summoned for Oct. 21 hearing, days after scheduled execution date

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Death row inmate Robert Robeson has been summoned to appear before the Texas House of Representative's committee on criminal jurisprudence on Oct. 21, in order to testify to the committee, according to a state representative's social media post.Roberson, 57, had been convicted after a jury found him guilty for killing his two-year-old daughter in 2002. Advocates for Roberson say that doctors misdiagnosed the child's injuries by using faulty and outdated science. Previous: Parole
