Deadly South Austin fire was started by victim

AUSTIN (KXAN ) — A man who suffered burns when a fire broke out at a home in South Austin Monday died from his injuries a day later. The fire has been ruled an arson by the Travis County Fire Marshal’s Office.
Investigators determined the fire was intentionally set by the victim. Their investigation is ongoing.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s said the man, reported to be in his 50s, died on Tuesday after he was transported to the burn unit at San Antonio Military Medic
