'Critical incident' video of Jan. 29 APD shooting released

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Police Chief Joseph Chacon held a news conference Thursday to give details about an investigation after an officer shot someone Jan. 29 in north Austin.Chacon's virtual news conference began at 3 p.m. He updated the public on the investigation, showed video footage and played a 911 call from the incident, which ended in a robbery suspect being shot at several times by an APD officer in the 4100 block of N.
