Crash on SH 95 in Bastrop County kills one

BASTROP, Texas (KXAN) — Northbound lanes of SH 95 are closed after a deadly crash near Camp Swift on Monday.
The Bastrop’s County Sheriff’s Office described it as a major collision at Pershing Boulevard in front of a Dollar General store. Authorities were called to the crash site at 12:43 p.m. It appears there were two vehicles involved in the crash between a pickup truck and a silver sedan. One person was killed in the crash.
