Crash kills one person, knocks out power to nearby homes

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Police think speed and wet weather were factors in a deadly crash early Thursday morning in northeast Austin. According to police, two men were heading south in the 3300 block of Northeast Drive when their vehicle hit a pole just after midnight.
