Crash kills man on bicycle in Southwest Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man on a bicycle in his 30s was struck and killed by a vehicle in Southwest Austin Saturday morning, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.
Austin Police say the crash happened around 7:20 a.m. on the eastbound service road in the 5100 block of West U.S. 290 near Brodie Lane.
All lanes on the eastbound frontage road near the crash are closed.
Drivers should use caution and avoid the area.
