COVID risk downgraded in three local counties in latest CDC update

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The risk from COVID-19 has been downgraded in three local counties in the latest weekly update by the CDC.Each week since Feb. 24, the CDC has assigned a "COVID-19 Community Level" to every county nationwide based on how the virus is impacting local populations.
In the Thursday, Sept. 8 update, Lampasas County was downgraded from high to medium risk, while Fayette and Llano Counties dropped from medium to low risk.Milam County is now the only local county at high risk.Travi
