Coolest weekend forecast since April

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The strongest cold front of the autumn season to date has moved through the area this evening, with cooler and less humid air blowing in behind it.
As the cold front exits the area, a few isolated downpours are moving southward through 6 p.m. The forecast after that is dry and cool Friday evening with gusty north winds to 30 miles per hour.Overnight low temperatures in many areas will drop to the 50s and some spotty 40s -- the coolest we have seen so far this season.
