Controversial housing development will now include 20-acre park

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Developers have agreed to scale back plans for a controversial affordable housing project in Austin after taking community feedback into consideration.
The 75-acre Grove at Shoal Creek development is going to be built near Bull Creek Road and 45th Street. The project planners, ARG Bull Creek, Ltd., have agreed to cut back the retail and office spaces to add 20-acres of parkland to the development.
