Construction worker rescued after falling into trench

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man working on a construction project had to be rescued after he fell into a trench in northwest Austin, says the Austin-Travis County EMS.
The accident happened around 11:30 a.m. at 12206 Scribe Dr. Initially, ATCEMS says rescuers were able to talk to the victim, but could not physically reach the individual.
The Austin Fire Department assisted rescue crews by setting up a system to remove the person from the trench. Crews were able to get the person out of the trench wi
