Coldest temperatures in 7 years recorded this morning

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A Hard Freeze Warning is in effect for Central Texas until noon today for an extended period of sub-freezing temperatures. All precipitation has ended, however, some patches of ice may remain on a few area roadways through midday.
