Coldest high temps since February today with rain and some wintry mix returning by this evening

AUSTIN (KXAN) — An early morning widespread rain brought only a few hundredths of an inch to most of Central Texas before sunrise this morning. A few spotty showers remain possible through mid-afternoon before our next widespread rain arrives.The rest of the day will be mostly cloudy and chilly with highs in the low 50s.
