Cold, windy day ahead - snow flurry or two possible

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Our most recent cold front crept in overnight without much fanfare besides increasing clouds and a mild shift in winds.This morning, the real brunt of the cold front will become more noticeable. Winds will pick up out of the north around 15 to 20 mph, gusting to 35 mph. Temperatures will be warmest in the morning with 50s falling to the 40s by the afternoon, and an areawide light freeze by tomorrow morning.The recent updates to our high resolution models show two (very smal
