Clouds will thin this afternoon with possible record heat

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Afternoon temperatures will warm to the upper 70s to low 80s. South winds will continue at 5 to 15 mph with occasional higher gusts. The record high for February 6th is 83° set in 1925.Clouds will gradually clear during the afternoon to a mostly sunny sky as the sun goes down.
Tomorrow will be much like today with highs a degree or two warmer reaching the low to mid 80s.Saturday will be our warmest day with highs going deep into the 80s to a few that just might reach 90°
