Chase Bank robbed in north Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Police are working a bank robbery along North Lamar Boulevard just north of Rundberg Lane Wednesday morning.
The robbery happened just after 10 a.m. at the Chase Bank located in the 9900 block of North Lamar Boulevard. There are two banks across the street from each other at the location — a Wells Fargo and a Chase bank.
Authorities are asking people to avoid the area as they investigate the robbery.
