Cedar Park SWAT situation ends with man in custody

CEDAR PARK, Texas (KXAN) — Cedar Park Police say a man is in custody Friday morning after a SWAT standoff at an apartment complex.
According to police, the man refused to come out of a unit at the Muir Lake Apartments on 12600 Avery Ranch Blvd. At around 7:30 p.m. police say an acquaintance of the man expressed concern about his mental health. Officers responded and saw him inside the apartment, but the man would not speak to police.
