Car slams into east Austin apartment

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A driver who slammed into an apartment complex in east Austin managed to walk away without any injuries.
Austin police say the crash happened just after 6 p.m. at the Springdale Garden Apartments, which is at the corner of Springdale Road and Oak Springs Drive. Authorities are still trying to determine what caused the crash, but no one inside the apartment was injured.
