Car hits man on horseback in Northeast Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A car hit a man riding horseback in Northeast Austin Saturday night.
Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the call just after 9 p.m. in the 5200 block of E Parmer Lane.
A man in his 40’s was taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge with potentially life-threatening injuries. The horse died at the scene.
