Caldwell County deputy shot multiple times in stable condition

CALDWELL COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — A Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office deputy was shot and taken to the hospital Friday morning.
STAR Flight took the deputy to Dell Seton Medical Center, where he was awaiting surgery as of 8:20 a.m. At 12:21 p.m. the Texas Department of Public Safety said he was in stable condition.
