Brown Elementary abruptly closes due to structural concerns

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Classes at Brown Elementary School in north Austin have been cancelled on Friday, Nov. 4 due to “structural concerns.”
A statement from Austin Independent School District said a recent engineer’s report brought the situation to light. An engineer was onsite for an assessment which was part of the Facility Master Plan process.
