'Botox party' bill step closer to heading to Governor

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Proposed legislation to enhance patient safety and tighten Texas laws over who can administer Botox injections — and similar treatments — is one step closer to becoming law.
In a 107-32 vote Monday, the Texas House gave preliminary approval after a second reading on proposed legislation following a KXAN investigation that highlighted medical concerns associated with Botox injections."This bill is a cleanup bill that clarifies limitations for estheticians an
