Body found in Pedernales River in west Travis County

TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) – A body was found in the Pedernales River in far west Travis County Sunday afternoon, said the Travis County Sheriff’s Office.
At this time, it is unknown if the cause of death is drowning or if the death is suspicious, TCSO said. The body was discovered at about 3 p.m. near the 500 block of Nomad Drive, which is north of SH 71 and east of Paleface Ranch Road.
TCSO is investigating the scene and said they would provide more details later Sunday.
