Bexar County issues capital murder warrant for Austin shooting spree suspect

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — A capital murder warrant was issued for a man accused of a shooting spree that spanned from Bexar County to Austin in December 2023, the Bexar County Sheriff's Office told KXAN on Tuesday.Shane James, 35, was accused of shooting and killing two people, who were later identified as his parents, inside their home in Bexar County.
