Bastrop County wildfire now 50% contained, 700 acres

BASTROP COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — Crews continued to fight the 700-acre wildfire in Bastrop County on Sunday.
Bastrop County officials said the Pine Pond Fire is 700 acres and 50% contained as of Sunday night. Officials said no structure damage or injuries are reported.
It started Thursday in the 580 block of Old Antioch Road. The cause is still under investigation, county officials said.
