Bastrop County commissioner indicted on abuse of official capacity charges

BASTROP, Texas (KXAN) — A Bastrop County commissioner has been indicted on three counts of abuse of official capacity.
Records show Commissioner Gary “Bubba” Snowden, 72, was arrested and booked into the Bastrop County Jail on Tuesday, Dec. 12. The specifics of the charges are not yet known.
In an emailed response to the indictment, Snowden says he has known of the allegations for a long time. “I am not guilty of each and every charge contained in this indictment,”
