Bastrop arena closed due to EDCC equine safety recommendation

The City of Bastrop announced that the Mayfest Park Rodeo Arena would be closed until further notice after the Equine Disease Communication Center recommended the closure due to Equine Herpesvirus Myeloencephalopathy outbreak.
