Backpage ad leads to sexual assault in north Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A woman who met up with a man who contacted her via an ad on Backpage.com was sexually assaulted as the suspect held a knife to her throat, according to an arrest affidavit.
The victim told police that around 11:30  p.m. on Dec. 1, the suspect, identified as 42-year-old William Fred Black Jr., called her after he saw her ad and photograph on the website. The two spoke for a few minutes and agreed to a price he would pay in exchange for her services.
