Avoid the area: I-35 southbound lower deck closed after crash

AUSTIN (KXAN) — All southbound traffic on Interstate 35 is being diverted onto the upper deck after a car and motorcycle crashed near Dean Keeton Street on the lower deck Sunday afternoon.
Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services said it happened at 3:17 p.m.  A man and woman were taken to Dell Seton Medical Center in serious condition.
Austin police are asking people to avoid the area while they investigate.
