Austin Water using study to help decide future rates

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Water is conducting a study to help decide the future of water and wastewater rates.
The utility says the cost of service study includes a review of the methodology used to allocate costs among customer classes (residential, multifamily, commercial and large volume) and to update and improve their methods for determining rates.
