Austin protesters rallying for $15 minimum wage at the Capitol

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The national debate over increasing the minimum wage is coming to downtown Austin on Monday.
Protesters will rally at City Hall at noon and then plan to march to the state Capitol at 1 p.m.
The group fighting for wage increases is called Fight for $15 Texas. The rally is one of 25 happening around the country for Higher Ground Moral Day of Action initiated by Rev. Dr. William J Barber of North Carolina.
They are calling on state lawmakers to raise the minimum wage to $15. T
