Austin Pets Alive! needs help after heater breaks down

AUSTIN (KXAN) – The weekend cold front has caused a decades-old heater at Austin Pets Alive! to break down, leaving a run of kennels with insufficient heat.
In addition to the space heater breaking, APA! has also been asked to take in 15 puppies Sunday afternoon. Five from one litter needs round-the-clock bottle feeding for a few weeks, others will go to get parvovirus treatment and some of the puppies will need a foster home for a few weeks before they can be adopted.
