Austin medic suspended for 30 days after DWI arrest

AUSTIN (KXAN) — An Austin-Travis County EMS medic who is accused of driving while intoxicated in July has been suspended for 30 days, according to a disciplinary memo.
The memo states Medic Charlie Rust, while off-duty, was arrested by the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office and charged with DWI on July 8.
