Attorney General Paxton dines with 8-year-old transgender boy

AUSTIN, Texas (AP/KXAN) — Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton had dinner with the family of an 8-year-old transgender boy whose mother has criticized the Republican over policies she says impacts her son.
Amber Briggle said Friday that Paxton and his wife were polite and there was no awkwardness during the nearly two-hour dinner at their Denton home despite their differences.
Briggle had invited Paxton and other conservative leaders to dinner in May during an Equality Texas press conference
