Armadillo Christmas Bazaar opens for last-minute local shopping

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Shoppers searching for unique gifts for the holidays can do so while listening to music at an annual, 11-day event in Austin.
The Armadillo Christmas Bazaar began Thursday, Dec. 14, and goes up until Christmas Eve. Each year, about 40,000 shoppers stop by to check out (and buy) art and handmade gifts from more than 160 artists. At least three bands play each day as people peruse the offerings and make purchases.
