Arctic front moving through Central Texas now

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- An arctic cold front is powering through Central Texas with temperatures already dropping in the Hill Country with the front expected to plow through the Austin Metro between 4:30 p.m. (Williamson County) and 7 p.m.
As the front arrives the winds will shift and become strong with gusts up to 40 mph possible. Some localized (non-grid related) power outages will be possible with the wind this evening and overnight.
