APD: Victim identified in Springdale Road homicide

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Police say 18-year-old Mario Vences was shot and killed following a disagreement between a group of people that then turned violent when someone pulled a gun and fired several shots.
APD is still investigating the shooting, but say they have identified a person of interest.
APD said officers are responded to the homicide in the 1000 block of Springdale Road, which is the road's intersection with Airport Boulevard. Austin-Travis County EMS said it was called at 4:18 p
