APD officer shoots stabbing suspect in west Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — An Austin police officer was involved in an incident where two men were rushed to the hospital after one was shot and another was stabbed
Austin Police Chief Brian Manley said police were called to the 4000 block of Greenhill Place, which is off Mesa Drive in west Austin, at 10:35 a.m The caller reported hearing a man and woman screaming and a man saying “he had a gun and he would use it.”
Manley said as police were on their way to the home, they received a seco
