APD helicopter flying over north Austin after reported shooting

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department said one of its helicopters is helping after a reported shooting Wednesday afternoon in north Austin.APD said the reported shooting happened near Clearfield and Beech Drive, which is near U.S. Highway 183 between North Lamar Boulevard and Payton Gin Road.Police said the helicopter is assisting officers in the area who are responding to the incident.
