Another warming trend carries us to record heat this week

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Southerly winds have started our warming trend that will bring more clouds, humidity and warm temperatures in the days to come.Afternoon highs will be quick to warm with temps in the 60s today, 70s Tuesday and 80s Wednesday. Temperatures will near records both Wednesday and Thursday with highs climbing towards 80 degrees. Each day will also favor muggy to humid conditions with more clouds than sun.We can't rule out a mix of drizzle, mist, and fog each morning through Friday
