AFD: 1 rescued in south Austin condo complex fire

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Residents of a south Austin condo complex were not allowed back into their homes Wednesday night after the Austin Fire Department responded to a three-alarm fire.AFD Assistant Chief Andre De La Reza said during a media briefing this was due to electricity being shut off for the entire complex, which has a total of 15 units.De La Reza said one person in the unit next to the one on fire was rescued by crews who used a ladder to the balcony.
