Active shooter situation reported at north Dallas hotel

DALLAS (KXAN) — An active shooter situation has been reported at a north Dallas hotel, as a large number of police have converged in the hotel parking lot, according to NBCDFW.
Police were called to the Dallas Wyndham Suites Park Central hotel on Alpha Road, near the interchange of US 75 and I-635, after 2:30 p.m., the local NBC affiliate reports.
