About 3,000 drivers using MoPac toll lane every weekday

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The people behind the MoPac Improvement Project says the new toll lane that opened in mid-October is helping move some people faster.
A spokesperson for the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority says in general, about 3,000 drivers are using the northbound toll lane between Ranch to Market 2222 to Parmer Lane every weekday. During normal peak hours from about 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. the agency is processing about 800 vehicles per hour.
