Abbott, Trump praise Charter Communications plan at White House
AUSTIN (TEXAS TRIBUNE/AP) — Gov. Greg Abbott met with President Donald Trump Friday at the White House.
Charter Communications CEO Thomas Rutledge announced a plan to hire 20,000 American workers over the next four years and invest $25 billion in the future. Rutledge says that the company will return the call center jobs acquired through Time Warner Cable to the United States, opening a new call center in McAllen and hiring 600 workers there.
