911 working again in Leander after outage

LEANDER, Texas (KXAN) — Leander police say 911 emergency services are back up and running as of 12:23 a.m. Wednesday.
A temporary interruption took down the ability to call 911 from Leander, the Office of Emergency Management said Tuesday at around 4:30 p.m. Phone calls were being routed to Cedar Park police.
Leander police said the outage was a result of lines being severed during construction. The non-emergency Leander police line — 512-528-2800 — is still available
