800 volunteers spend their weekend sprucing up Wooten Elementary

AUSTIN (KXAN) — It may be Saturday, but things were hopping at one of Austin ISD’s elementary schools.
Around 800 volunteers descended on Wooten Elementary School bright and early to start sprucing up the inside and outside of the campus near Burnet Road and U.S. 183.
The children and adults all sporting bright yellow vests were with Mormon Helping Hands.
