80 churches sign up for security summit after Sutherland Springs shooting

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — In response to the worst mass shooting in Texas’ history at the First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs that killed 26 people, law enforcement in Williamson County has put out the call for congregations concerned about security.
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office — along with nearly a dozen area police departments — is hosting a security summit on Sunday to “address the needs of places of worship in and around the Willi
