AUSTIN (KXAN) — With only 8 days left in astronomical spring, our forecast continues to feel more like summer (and a bad summer at that).Today is day No. 8 of record-breaking heat in Austin as our afternoon forecast high of 102 degrees climbs 1 degree over the current record set back in 2011. It is also our second-longest streak of 100° days at Camp Mabry during the month of June (8 days), tied with 1925.
